The Ocean County, New Jersey Prosecutor's Office Provides Important Data to New Jersey State Police

The Muse Police Data Harvesting System automatically gathers name and incident information from more than a dozen different police department Records Management Systems in Ocean County, uploading the information to NJDex, a state-wide database of information.

Built using MuseGlobal's Smart Connectors, the Muse Police Data Harvesting System can work with a wide variety of commercially available Records Management Systems, making it ideal for consolidating important public safety information from multiple municipal agencies. Harvested records are formatted appropriately for upload to the target database. The system also includes a Record Tracking System to ensure rejected, duplicate, and historical records are tracked and correctly accounted for in the import process.

Sponsored by the Ocean County, New Jersey Prosecutor's Office in coordination with the New Jersey State Police, the Muse Police Data Harvesting System implemented there is the first in New Jersey.
